OVERVIEW

Personalized medicine (PM) is the practice of separating people into groups for the purpose of delivering medical service based on their individual risk of developing a disease or possible response to a specific treatment.

Over the recent years, PM has gained a considerable application in medical practice including pharmaceutical care; however, application in MENA region is considerably limited. Therefore, IVPN in collaboration with Dr. Mohamed Nagy, the renown regional and international field expert, took the initiative to spread the knowledge about this unique field which is expected to influence the practice and outcomes of medication therapy management.
